Frequently asked questions

I don't want to use WordPress. I only want a static website, not a blog.

I can modify WordPress themes so that your website will not have any semblance of a blog. Regular site visitors cannot tell that it is powered by WordPress.

How long will it take for you to finish my website?

I can usually finish a website within one to two weeks. It may speed-up or slow-down depending on the complexity of the website and how fast you are in turning over the images, write-ups and other materials necessary for the completion of your site.

Is the price you offered final? I would like to request/negotiate for price lower than what you offered.

The price I offered are based on the website packages that I believe will suit your business. While I do not give an outright discount, we can do some adjustments from the existing packages, like lowering the number of initial pages and/or the period of initial website maintenance and updating so that we can also lower the price.

Another option is for you to outright pick the less costly package but I may or may not agree on that depending on the complexity of the features you want for your website.

When do I need to pay for the website?

The domain and hosting are paid separately. You need to pay it every year.

My website development services that are Php 5,000.00 or more are payable as 30%, 30%, 30%, 10%. Thirty percent before I start working on your site, 30% after I finished the initial design for your approval, 30% upon completion of the website development project, and 10% at the end of the website maintenance and updating service that we agreed upon or as indicated in the package.

Website development that are less than Php 5,000.00 are payable as 50%, 50%. Fifty percent before I start working on your site and another 50% upon completion.

I am the manager/director/owner of [insert name] website development company and I would like to invite you for an interview for a full time employment in our company.

Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity but I am not looking for full time employment in the web development industry. However, I am open for tie ups in case you need to outsource some of your projects to me, like if you need certain skills that I have and none of your current employees can provide, or if you have too much influx of projects.

Do you do pure flash website or flash presentation embedded on a website?

No, I don't do flash presentations of any form whether it is embedded on an HTML webpage or the entire website is made of flash. Flash presentations are good eyecandy but they are not always good for your site visitors and potential customers.

In lieau of flash presentations that are usually found in home pages of some company websites, I would recommend the use of some WordPress plugins that can replicate the presentation that you originally intended for flash, such as the WP-Cycle plugin, which I used in the home page of this site to generate slideshow.
